Greg has many years’ experience as an Accountant, both in public practice and in Management roles. His passion for all things financial started as a teenager at high school. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce straight out of high school while working in numerous Management roles in Retail Administration. Following a role in the country in his early twenties, he moved back to Perth to take a position as State Administration Manager for a well-known WA Retailer. He then completed his Master of Accounting part-time while in this role and on its completion, moved into public practice. It is here where he gained his experience in preparing Tax returns and also in many other areas of Taxation. He has a special interest in preparing Individual Tax Returns and has prepared thousands of returns. It is this experience that has allowed him to gain his registration as a Tax Agent. It is his passion for Accounting and helping small business that led to the formation of TAG Bookkeeping & Accounting.
Greg’s interests extend to all facets of finance and he also holds a Diploma of Financial Services which makes him a qualified Mortgage Broker.
Tanya Armstrong
PRINCIPAL BOOKKEEPER AND DIRECTOR

Tanya originally trained and worked as a scientist for 10 years. She worked as a bookkeeper supporting Greg’s clients in the evenings during that time. When Tanya and Greg started a family, they decided they wanted to do something from home that would allow them to spend more time with the family. They decided to formalise the bookkeeping and accounting work and TAG Bookkeeping & Accounting was created. While on maternity leave with her first baby in 2010, Tanya completed her Certificate IV Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and became a registered BAS agent and Certified Bookkeeper (MICB). Since having a second child, Tanya has had a full career change and is working solely on TAG Bookkeeping & Accounting. Tanya enjoys meeting new clients and helping them to get the most out of their business. She is proficient in both MYOB and QuickBooks and can help with everything from set up to training. Tanya’s clients come from a diverse range of industries including an Introduction Agency, a wide range of tradesmen, Real Estate Agents, Health Professionals, retail stores and multi-national engineering companies. Tanya believes variety is the spice of life!
